Images of the tifo have already been leaked over social media ahead of the very first game between these two sides at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
Everton supporters have already been hit with backlash from the red half of the city, with the tifo showing an image of The Beatles wearing a blue and white scarf.

The Merseyside Derby this weekend has an awful lot riding on it, with the tifo acting as another method to fire up an electric atmosphere.
Everton supporters plan to welcome the team bus into the stadium, but the edited image of The Beatles has caused a lot of controversy online.

“That’s a long story. My dad was born in Everton, which is the other Liverpool team. So officially, I’m an Everton fan, because that’s our family team,” he told Wired a number of years ago.
“But I knew the players and the managers of Liverpool years ago, and they did so great, and they were big fans of mine. So I’m a Liverpool and an Everton fan. I know it’s not strictly allowed, but I got special dispensation.”
Perhaps not quite the answer many would have expected, but it does quash the notion that he did not support Everton.
The frustration comes after The 1878s used an image of The Beatles, in which the band members were wearing a red and white scarf.
But the Blues are the originals and they plan to make that abundantly clear at the weekend with their south stand tifo.
This is a Merseyside Derby where Everton will hope to do their talking on the pitch, with a massive opportunity to take a step closer to European qualification.
Everton’s players know Liverpool are not in good form, but they need to act on that when the whistle blows on Sunday.
