A theme is emerging as Everton now linked to 'tireless' £11m Crystal Palace target by French…

Everton are quite clearly looking to sign a certain type of winger this summer.

The Toffees have already been linked with a move for Abdul Fatawu as Leicester edge closer towards League One, a winger who cuts inside from the right onto his stronger left foot.

Everton also like Harry Wilson – another winger with this exact profile.

Now – according to L’Equipe in France – The Friedkin Group are monitoring another forward with these characteristics in Ilan Kebbal.

Which of these players do you want to see Everton SIGN in 2026?

Everton set to rival Crystal Palace for Ilan Kebbal

The French news outlet believe Everton are in the running to sign the Algeria international this summer, although Crystal Palace, Brentford and Fulham are also keen. The latter could potentially be interested in Kebbal as a direct replacement for the aforementioned Wilson – who hopes to return to the North West this summer.

L’Equipe believe Paris FC value the Algerian – who has a contract running until July 2028 – at a sum of €12m (£11m). Rennes, Monaco, Lyon and Saudi Arabian clubs are also said to be interested.

The report adds that Kebbal himself is open to leaving Paris this summer, where he has developed a reputation as one of the most “tireless” players in France, according to L’Equipe.

The Paris FC No.10 is also said to be admired for his “creativity and attacking flair” across Ligue 1 – where he has scored eight goals and provided four assists in 24 appearances this season.

As aforesaid, a clear theme is emerging as Everton target several wingers who cut inside from the right flank.

David Moyes already has two players who operate like that in Dwight McNeil and Tyler Dibling, although both could leave this summer.

Everton agreed to sell McNeil to Crystal Palace in February before the deal collapsed, and a summer exit is still possible.

Furthermore, Moyes has already called on Dibling to improve to no avail, and it is not impossible that Everton loan the England U21 international out this summer considering he has only made four starts in the Premier League this term.

In his 18 appearances in total, the £40m signing from Southampton is yet to score or assist a goal.

How can Tyler Dibling actually turn things around at Everton? 🤷‍♂️

It's going to need some turnaround from the youngster 😫

So, if a deal for Kebbal, Wilson or Fatawu materialises, Dibling or McNeil – or both – could be offloaded, in our view at least.
