Alex Iwobi admits he “switched” after Dominic Calvert-Lewin confrontation
When asked by Adebayo Akinfenwa whether his buttons had ever been pushed in football, the Nigeria international told the Beast Mode On podcast: “Yeah many times. I’m big on respect. Talk to me how you want to be talked to.

“I remember once, after a game for Everton. Dom Calvert-Lewin is my boy, but he tried to get on to me saying, I’m free, why didn’t you cross to me? But I was like, brother, you can’t chat to me like that. I switched.
“It’s football, so we blessed it afterwards, but in the heat of the moment I was talking stuff, and he was talking stuff as well.”
