Opinion: Fresh Adam Aznou transfer claim will cause Angus Kinnear a real Everton headache

Everton left-back Adam Aznou has three European sides offering him a summer exit.

David Moyes has barely used Aznou since signing him last year, with the youngster not playing a single minute of Premier League football.

Aznou impressed for Morocco’s U23s during the recent international break, where he was even able to score.

It is believed that Marseille are showing the most interest in the defender out of the three sides.

Aznou has already hinted at his Everton displeasure through some of his social media posts in recent months.

It is hard to blame him given he joined with such potential and has not been handed a single minute of Premier League action.

Everton could be set for double left-back exit this summer

Aznou may not be the only left-back departing Finch Farm in the coming months.

Vitalii Mykolenko is on course to leave Everton, with no agreement in place to sign a new contract before the end of the season.

This will leave Everton with a lot of work to do in the summer if both players leave.

Not only will Everton be on the lookout for quality players, but they will also be required to strengthen their depth.

Of course, Moyes is open to playing Jarrad Branthwaite at left-back, but the player prefers to be played through the middle.
