David Moyes has spent a total of 12 years at Everton.
The Glaswegian spent 2002 to 2013 at Goodison Park before moving to Manchester United, and has added another 16 months to the tally after returning to Everton in January 2025 as a replacement for Sean Dyche.
David Moyes has picked up from where he left off with Everton now back fighting for European football again, playing a similarly spirited style of football under the Scot, but not everything about the 62-year-old is the same as insiders tell the Daily Mail.

Everton insiders believe David Moyes has mellowed and is less intimidating
The Daily Mail have now published a detailed article explaining how Moyes has dragged Everton away from relegation battles.
It is said that Finch Farm is a “happy place” once again with the former West Ham boss back on Merseyside.
Staff members who have worked with Moyes across both of his spells in charge believe this is down to the fact he has “mellowed” during his time away from Everton, and is now a “less intimidating” figure.
This change of attitude was perhaps forced on the Everton boss after difficult spells in charge of Manchester United and Real Sociedad, with player power now rife in modern football, and a sterner approach not having the same impact as it once did.

The former Celtic defender can still be tough when needed, however. Moyes called out Tyler Dibling in a press conference earlier this season, telling the 20-year-old to pull his finger out and improve.
Those words are yet to have an impact, as the £40m man has failed to score or assist in 18 appearances for Everton, so perhaps Moyes needs to be even harsher on the England U21 international.
Ultimately, the majority seem to be reacting well to his methods, with the likes of Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, James Garner, Iliman Ndiaye, Idrissa Gueye and Jordan Pickford all delivering consistently and enjoying impressive campaigns.
How confident on a scale of 1-10 are you that Moyes signs a new deal?😬
1 being he won't sign and 10 being confident he'll ink a new contract!

With the Guardian recently reporting that Moyes is expected to sign a new contract this summer, those currently struggling under his management will need to buck up their ideas.
