Jordan Pickford in “love” with the Hill Dickinson Stadium as Everton No.1 sets benchmark
The England international told Sky Sports that he is a huge fan of the new ground, and sent a message to his Everton teammates to keep delivering more performances like the one which saw Chelsea lose 3-0 last time out.
Pickford – who has aimed a subtle dig at Liverpool – said: “Personally I love the new stadium, and what a way to showcase it against Chelsea like we did the other week. That’s the standard we should set as a club and as players. That’s a performance we should set out to do every week.
“We know it’s sometimes tough and we play against (various) opposition and it’s all different, but that’s the standard. I think that was the perfect game for Everton Football Club to showcase the new stadium.”

With the new ground also capable of hosting rugby events, a driving range, international fixtures, concerts and even the 2026 Wings for Life World Run, the Hill Dickinson Stadium will ensure The Friedkin Group can bring much more cash into Everton – a welcome boost after some tough years financially under Farhad Moshiri.
