Liverpool team confirmed to face Everton in the Merseyside derby at Hill Dickinson Stadium.
Liverpool have made four changes for the Merseyside derby against Everton at Hill Dickinson Stadium.
Cody Gakpo, Curtis Jones, Andy Robertson and Mohamed Salah come into the Reds’ line-up following the Champions League exit at the hands of Paris Saint-Germain earlier this week.
Hugo Ekitike, who suffered a ruptured Achilles against PSG, Jeremie Frimpong, Alexis Mac Allister and Milos Kerkez drop to the bench. It means that Dominik Szoboszlai is likely to feature at right-back with Joe Gomez injured.
Alexander Isak, who recently recovered from a broken leg, continues to spearhead Liverpool’s attack.
A win for Liverpool will see them move seven points above Chelsea in the pursuit for a Premier League top-five finish. But the Reds face an Everton side who are in fine fettle and in the pursuit of Europe themselves.
The Toffees, meanwhile, are unchanged from their 2-2 draw at Brentford last weekend.
Liverpool: Mamardashvili, Van Dijk, Konate, Wirtz, Szoboszlai, Isak, Salah, Jones, Gakpo, Robertson, Gravenberch.
Subs: Woodman, Pecsi, Kerkez, Mac Allister, Chiesa, Frimpong, Nyoni, Ngumoha.
