Arne Slot is now urging Liverpool to sign Randal Kolo Muani, with Luis Enrique finally ready to cash in on the PSG forward on a permanent basis this summer.
Slot asks Liverpool to sign Kolo Muani
There's not been much reason for optimism at Liverpool this season. Although fifth place will be enough for Champions League qualification this season, even that won't hide how disappointing their title defence has been and the pressure has been heating up on Slot as a result.

Even as Anfield legends prepare to bow out and managerial concerns continue to arrive, however, there remains one constant. Merseyside is red.
On a day when Everton threatened to compile Liverpool's misery, it was Van Dijk who stepped up at the death to hand the Toffees an all too familiar feeling for the first time at their new home.
It's now back-to-back wins in the Premier League for the Reds, but that doesn't mean their problems are going away anytime soon. Hugo Ekitike's recent achilles injury has handed them another item to tick off the to-do list this summer, which already includes replacing Mohamed Salah.
Last summer was busy and expensive. This summer may simply have to be the same unless those at Anfield unearth a bargain buy courtesy of PSG.

Liverpool are in need with midfield reinforcements in the summer transfer market.
According to TuttoJuve, in a recent meeting with club chiefs Slot urged Liverpool to sign Kolo Muani to replace Ekitike this summer. Enrique is reportedly ready to sell the forward, who is currently on loan at Tottenham Hotspur, sparking an early battle between the Reds and Italian giants Juventus.
Kolo Muani could earn Premier League redemption at Liverpool
It's not been an easy campaign for Kolo Muani. He arrived in North London fresh from a successful loan spell at Juventus, which featured 10 goals in 22 games. It very much looked to be intelligent business for all parties, before a shock relegation battle unravelled at Tottemham.
Tottenham's Randal Kolo Muani
When Spurs have needed goals, the Frenchman has simply failed to make his mark - scoring just once in 25 Premier League appearances.
Kolo Muani has played under three different managers at Tottenham this season
Alas, it's worth noting what Kolo Muani signed up for. He is not a relegation-battling striker. He arrived with European pedigree at a top club and as a full French international. He was never going to drag a side to safety.
The last time the PSG forward was at a top club, he delivered in an excellent loan spell at Juventus. It's that spell Liverpool should focus on if they adhere to Slot's request this summer. With top players around him, there's every chance Kolo Muani would rediscover his best form.
"He's amazing. He's not only a strong dribbler, but he's very clinical in the final third. I love his mentality; he's always thinking about the team." (ex-Frankfurt coach Felix Magath)
Whilst Ekitike commences a long journey back to full fitness, Kolo Muani would at least add some much-needed depth to Liverpool's frontline next season.
