The Times has now reported that Newcastle are open to selling Gordon, but they want their £75m valuation met.
This comes after the early speculation surrounded a £60m valuation of the winger.
Gordon did not receive a warm welcome from Everton fans earlier this season, but a potential multi-million windfall would certainly be accepted by the Blues this summer.
There is a belief that Gordon would love to join Liverpool if that opportunity did arise over the coming months.
However, they have already been stung in signing Alexander Isak from Newcastle just last summer.
Regardless of where he ends up, this is a saga that Everton fans will be delighted the winger is no longer their problem amid yet another transfer battle.
