The clock is ticking and Dusan Vlahovic is yet to renew with Juventus, giving AC Milan hope that they can yet land him.
According to the latest from Calciomercato.com, both Vlahovic and Juventus have not yet been able to understand whether to extend their relationship together or whether to finally agree a divorce that – until a few months ago – seemed a foregone conclusion.

The Serbian striker has been at the centre of transfer rumours since last summer. However, his long injury and further lay-off in recent weeks have slowed potential interest from other clubs, but also the renewal talks.
Talks go called
As reported by Matteo Moretto in a video on Fabrizio Romano’s YouTube channel, Vlahovic’s entourage and Juventus have met several times over the past few months to try understand if the margins are there to extend the current deal.
At one point, the parties had managed to move forward towards a possible extension for the Serbian, but recently the talks have cooled and even ‘frozen’. There has been no progress towards new terms with the Old Lady, the journalist adds.
Further discussions and meetings will take place in May so attempts will continue, even if for now they are at a standstill. Both Barcelona and Bayern Munich had previously expressed interest in the former Fiorentina star though they have gone cold.
Milan remain an option, thanks in part to an excellent relationship between the sporting director Igli Tare and Vlahovic’s agent Darko Ristic, the same man who worked closely with AC Milan on the recent signing of Andrej Kostic.
Massimiliano Allegri wants a top striker ahead of an increasingly likely return to the Champions League, and he knows Vlahovic well having worked with him at Juventus.
