Sky Sports update claims Arne Slot will be Liverpool manager next season
On a Sky Sports News broadcast, it was reported that: “Arne Slot is expected to continue as Liverpool head coach next season, Sky Sports News understands, as the club close in on Champions League qualification.”
Reporter Vinnie O’Connor went on to say he expects him to be in the dugout at the start of next season, with Liverpool accepting of the fact that this was a season of transition. The distance to Chelsea in sixth has played a massive part.
That update is the clearest indication yet that Liverpool are planning to stick with the Dutchman ahead of the summer, despite the scrutiny he has faced during a difficult spell.
