Everton have been among the clubs linked with Harry Wilson.
Harry Wilson has reportedly agreed to join a Premier League club ahead of the summer transfer window, reports suggest.
The Fulham attacker has been in fine form this season, recording 10 goals and six assists in 31 appearances. Wilson is out of contract at Craven Cottage in June and is set to depart as a free agent.
Everton are admirers of the Wales international and displayed an interest in signing him during the January transfer window. The Toffees will likely look to add to their attacking options, with loanees Jack Grealish and Tyrique George set to return to Manchester City and Chelsea respectively, while Dwight McNeil was on the verge of joining Crystal Palace earlier in the year before the deal fell through.
However, it is suggested that Wilson has already made his mind up over his next move. According to Wales Online, the 29-year-old is set to join Aston Villa on a free transfer. It is said that Unai Emery’s side, who are on track to qualify for the Champions League, believe that Wilson would suit the team’s style of play.
Villa are reportedly ready to hand Wilson - a product of Liverpool’s academy - a contract worth £100,000-a-week.
Everton are expected to be fairly busy in the summer transfer window. They are expected to target full-backs for both sides of defence, as well as potentially new forwards depending on the futures of Grealish, George and McNeil. Grealish is currently sidelined with a fractured foot, having impressed in the first half of the season, producing two goals and six assists in 20 games.
Everton have the option to purchase Grealish for a fee of £50 million but will unlikely trigger the clause. Speaking on Grealish’s future earlier this month, Blues boss Moyes said: “We wouldn’t be making any decision and even if I was I wouldn’t be saying anything at the moment because Jack has had quite a serious operation in his foot so we’ve got to give that time to heal.
“Jack is here and we love having him around. He’s great company. If you look at the contribution in the 15-20 games he played, he was great. He gave the crowd a lift, and he certainly played a big part in where we’re sitting right now.”
