During the January transfer window, there were a lot of Everton supporters keen to see Lukaku return to Merseyside.
The possibility of the Belgian striker moving on from the Italian side appears to be increasing by the day.

Italian outlet Gazzetta has shared Lukaku’s promise to not play again for Napoli amid his heated dispute with the club.
Lukaku has been fined in the region of £130k after he refused to return to Napoli following an injury picked up on international duty.
With the Italian outfit and manager Antonio Conte furious with the striker, a parting of ways in the summer is almost a certainty.
The Friedkin Group asked about Lukaku’s availability ahead of the January window, with Everton’s striker issues there for all to see.
The 2025/26 campaign has been a real struggle for Lukaku, with injury issues limiting him to just five Serie A appearances.
Last season, the Belgian netted 14 goals and provided 10 league assists as Napoli secured the Scudetto.
Bringing Lukaku back to Merseyside would certainly pose a risk given the uncertainties over his fitness, but he is one of those players that fans would love regardless.
