Alisson is expected to miss Liverpool vs. Crystal Palace this weekend along with Joe Gomez after the injured pair failed to rejoin senior training on Wednesday.
Liverpool’s No. 1 was considered to have an outside chance of returning from a hamstring injury in time for Saturday’s visit of Palace.
But that is now seen as unlikely after the Reds resumed training on Wednesday without either Alisson or Gomez.
With Giorgi Mamardashvili also out after suffering a nasty cut to the knee against Everton, Arne Slot is set to hand Freddie Woodman his full Premier League debut.

Gomez has been absent since being substituted in the 2-0 loss to Paris Saint-Germain last week, with Curtis Jones filling in at right-back for the Merseyside derby.
Slot could stick with Jones after the Scouser impressed in that 2-1 win – setting a season-high record of 16 recoveries – or restore Jeremie Frimpong to starting duties.
Mor Talla Ndiaye, the 18-year-old centre-back signed from Senegalese side Amitie FC in January, was among those drafted into the first-team session.
He is not set to be involved against Palace but Amara Nallo, who was also involved on Wednesday, could be considered.

The full squad put through their paces on a warm day at the AXA is as yet unknown, but This Is Anfield understands midfielder James McConnell was part of the group as he continues his recovery from injury.
McConnell has featured in recent U21s friendlies against PSG and the i2i Football Academy having seen his season-loan loan at Ajax cut short due to minor surgery.
He could become an option for Slot in the closing weeks of the season but more realistic is that he remains with the U21s ahead of their round-of-16 playoff against Palace U21s on Sunday.
The likes of Mohamed Salah, Dominik Szoboszlai, Alexis Mac Allister and Ryan Gravenberch were all spotted in training on Wednesday ahead of likely starts at the weekend.

Young goalkeeper Armin Pecsi was part of shooting drills and should be on the bench for the second game in a row in the Premier League with Alisson and Mamardashvili absent.
Liverpool will continue their training this week before Slot holds his pre-match press conference on Friday morning – no doubt with an update on Alisson and others.
Hugo Ekitike is certainly ruled out against Palace and for the rest of the season, joining Conor Bradley, Giovanni Leoni, Wataru Endo, Stefan Bajcetic and Jayden Danns on the long-term absentee list.
