Beto suffered a head injury in the Merseyside Derby, which saw him replaced by Barry for the latter stages of the game.

Chris Sutton was not impressed with Barry, and neither were the Everton fans in attendance and watching at home.

A big decision awaits Moyes, who must evaluate whether Barry even deserves a spot in the squad to face West Ham United on Saturday.

With Everton’s U21s playing on Friday evening at Walton Hall Park, Graham’s inclusion in Tait’s youth side would likely confirm his exclusion from the senior squad to face the Hammers.

Everton will be hoping for Beto fitness green light

It was clear to see that Everton’s issues on Sunday started when Beto was forced off through his head injury.

The club will have to be careful with the next step as the 28-year-old appeared slightly dazed after suffering the knock to the head.

Wayne Rooney was really impressed with Beto against Liverpool, and having him fit and ready for West Ham would be a big boost for Moyes.

If not, the 62-year-old will face a significant selection decision as there are serious questions being asked about Barry’s commitment on Merseyside.

Although Graham may have shown plenty of promise at U21 level, Moyes has made it clear with other young players that he does not hand opportunities out easily.
