Three Everton absentees means Moyes heads to London with major headache

Considering [West Ham United](https://www.claretandhugh.info/relegation-rivals-huge-injury-blow-ahead-of-season-finale-west-ham-news/) are likely to have a fully fit squad again for match 34 out of 38, the Irons are in a pretty good place fitness-wise, with Crysencio Summerville looking a little stronger game by game and no other worries apparent after Monday night’s goalless war of attrition against Crystal Palace.

The Hammers will be hoping to beat their old boss when David Moyes’s Everton come calling in Saturday: at the same time as the Irons kick off at London Stadium, relegation rivals Spurts will be taking on already relegated Wolves: So Nuno knows the job in hand is to match or better the Spuds’ points tally to keep the two point cushion.

A tall order: Moyes Everton are riding high in tenth and will be looking to further boost their quest for European football. However, all is not quite so rosy in the Toffees’ treatment rooms: [Spurs-web.com](https://www.spurs-web.com/spurs-news/west-ham-receive-relegation-battle-boost-but-it-could-help-tottenham-eventually-too/) breaks the news that Moyes will be without key players from the London Stadium game:

_“Jarrad Branthwaite was in tears as he was stretchered off the pitch during Everton’s 2-1 defeat in the Merseyside Derby on Sunday. The Daily Mail have now confirmed that scans have revealed that the Everton centre-back now faces a couple of months on the sidelines and may not be back until pre-season._

_Jack Grealish remains sidelined for Everton, while Beto could also be a doubt for the clash against West Ham after suffering a knock on his head against Liverpool.”_

As West Ham fans we will clutch at every straw with delight and should our opponents have injury issues which helps the Irons on Saturday then, so be it. We’ll take those points any way we can get them at this stage of a relegation campaign: or course we wish the trio a speedy recovery. Next week, preferably. Tottenham take on Everton on the final day tie on May 24th.
