Liverpool injury news ahead of the Premier League fixture against Crystal Palace.

Liverpool have the chance to take a giant leap towards Champions League qualification when they face Crystal Palace.

Chelsea’s 3-0 loss to Brighton means that the Reds have the opportunity to go seven points clear in fifth spot in the Premier League table. While the 2025-26 season has been lacklustre for Liverpool, ensuring their spot in Europe’s elite club competition would be acceptable by head coach Arne Slot’s admission.

After a 2-1 win over Everton in the Merseyside derby, Liverpool will be hoping to build momentum that they can take into next term. But the Reds face a Palace team who have already beaten them three times in as many competitions this term.

A reason for Slot’s side’s problems have been injuries that have hit the squad. Heading into Palace’s visit to Anfield on Saturday, Liverpool could be without nine players. Here’s a look at those that might be missing.

Hugo Ekitike - out

A ruptured Achilles suffered in the Champions League loss to PSG means that the striker may miss the rest of the year.

Wataru Endo - out

The midfielder continues to recover from an ankle injury suffered two months ago. Endo will hope to be back at some point so he can represent Japan at the World Cup.

Conor Bradley - out

The right-back is still on the comeback trail from a serious knee injury.

Giovanni Leoni - out

The centre-back is back training on the grass for his ACL injury but will not be rushed back into action.

Jayden Danns - out

The striker is still on the mend for a hamstring injury and Slot has admitted that Danns is unlikely to be ready for Premier League action this season.

Stefan Bajcetic - out

The midfielder has not made a single appearance at any level this season because of a hamstring injury.

Alisson Becker - doubt

The No.1 goalkeeper has missed the past six games because of a hamstring problem. Slot admitted after the Everton game that there is a chance that Alisson could be back training this week.

Joe Gomez - doubt

The defender came off against PSG after being introduced as a half-time substitute. He subsequently missed the Everton clash.

Giorgi Mamardashvili - major doubt

The second-choice goalkeeper sustained a nasty wound against Everton, which required him to leave the pitch on a stretcher.
