Gary Neville believes David Moyes will be eyeing up a move to bring West Ham captain Jarrod Bowen to Everton this summer.
The Hammers welcome David Moyes back to the London Stadium this week as he brings his Everton side to his old stomping ground.
Saturday’s crunch reunion gives plenty of ammunition to those who warned West Ham to ‘be careful what you wish for’ when parting company with Moyes.
The Scot has the Toffees in European contention while West Ham are battling to stay in the Premier League nearly two years after he left the east London club.
Neville says Moyes will want to raid West Ham to bring Bowen to Everton
Moyes compiled a long list of achievements with the Hammers which included keeping the club up twice, a record Premier League points total, qualifying for Europe three seasons in a row and winning the club’s only major trophy of the last 47 years.
Key to all of those things was Jarrod Bowen.

Moyes signed Bowen from Hull for a bargain £20.5m back in January 2020 and he has been West Ham’s best and most consistent player since.
Bowen pledged to retire at West Ham when he signed a new seven-year deal – with the option for an eighth – in 2023.

But relegation would undoubtedly see Bowen leave, not least because the Hammers will need to plug the huge chasm in finances after announcing club record £104m losses.
Bowen has been linked with a host of clubs already from Chelsea to Liverpool, Newcastle and even Man United.
However, Gary Neville believes Moyes will be plotting to bring West Ham captain Bowen to Everton – presumably if the club drops into the Championship.
Speaking to Roy Keane on The Overlap, Neville made the claim, saying Bowen at Everton, in their new stadium and playing under Moyes would be the perfect match.

Some fans believe their talisman may be playing on through injury and pain for the team, given his selfless nature and attitude.
It would also go some way to explaining some of Bowen’s performances in the second half of this season.
Others think Bowen may be exhausted having carried the team on his back for the last two years and is in need of a rest.
But there is also a section of West Ham fans who believe he may be fed up and already resigned to leaving for pastures new come the summer.
If Moyes does want to sign Bowen for Everton, they may well face competition from bitter rivals Liverpool.
Liverpool’s interest in Jarrod Bowen has reportedly become more concrete after the announcement of Mo Salah’s exit and Hugo Ekitike’s long-term injury lay-off.
Everton will be encouraged by comments from two Liverpool legends recently, though.
Jamie Carragher and Steven Gerrard say Liverpool won’t be signing Bowen from West Ham.
West Ham’s owners have always insisted Bowen is not for sale.
The goalposts will almost certainly move if the Hammers are relegated – which will also impact how much the Hammers can command for their star man.
