Diomande ‘willing’ to join Liverpool

Liverpool have reportedly made great strides in their pursuit of RB Leipzig star Yan Diomande who is considered to be a replacement for the out going Mohamed Salah.
While Salah revealed that he would be leaving Liverpool at the end of the 2025/26 season, Liverpool will reportedly turn to the transfer market in search of a successor.
Leaving as a Liverpool legend, the club has reportedly identified Diomande as the player to receive the baton, while he is said to be on Manchester United’s radar as well.
Now though, according to Football 365, Liverpool would come as an appealing destination while he continues to grow as a top prospect from the African continent.
The report also mentions that Liverpool has already made contact with the players agent while the German side value Diomande around the €100 million mark.
Football 365 claimed that personal terms wont be a problem and that he is ‘excited’ at the idea of playing for Liverpool in the Premier League.
As Liverpool look ahead, the Reds are expected to beef up their squad for next season, while Arne Slot has reportedly received the owner’s backing despite a rocky 25/26 campaign.
