Alisson is open to a summer transfer to Serie A with Juventus among the clubs interested, but Liverpool will need to make a decision on Giorgi Mamardashvili.
Liverpool’s No. 1 remains linked with a switch to Juventus despite reports earlier this week that his salary demands would be prohibitive.
Italian transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano provided a major update on Wednesday, claiming Alisson “would like to join” the Serie A side and a deal is “definitely moving forward” – but a transfer would depend on a number of factors.
Alisson “wants to leave Liverpool as a legend” and will not push for an exit if it tarnishes his reputation, while Liverpool face a decision over Mamardashvili’s status.

“This is a deal that is definitely moving forward, a real negotiation taking place between Alisson, Juventus and his agent,” Romano explained on his YouTube channel.
“In short, the Alisson transfer is being pursued and there is a significant push on the player’s end. This is because Juventus are proposing a multi-year contract to Alisson.”
Liverpool have extended Alisson‘s contract by a further year to 2027 via a clause in his existing deal, but there is a sense this is more in order to preserve his value.
“Alisson would like to join Juventus, but he is under contract with Liverpool and he doesn’t want to leave badly if possible,” Romano continued.
“He wants to leave Liverpool as a legend, a truly remarkable legacy, either this year or next year. He aims for the very best possible exit.”

It could be a similar situation to that of Andy Robertson, who delayed his exit until the expiry of his contract this summer despite offers from Atletico Madrid and Tottenham.
Robertson turned Atletico down last summer and spent this season as backup to new first-choice left-back Milos Kerkez – but it remains to be seen if Alisson would be happy to replicate that role behind Mamardashvili.
Romano wrote on X that talks are planned between Liverpool and the representatives of both goalkeepers to establish the order for next season.
“We need to understand what Liverpool will decide: to continue with Alisson for another year or whether to definitively focus on Mamardashvili,” he added on YouTube.
“This is the key point of the operation, so let’s see. Juve are waiting – and hoping, it’s fair to say – to understand what will happen with Alisson.”
From Italy: Alisson-Di Gregorio swap deal proposed

According to Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport, via Sport Witness, Juventus could even offer goalkeeper Michele Di Gregorio in exchange for Alisson, citing Liverpool’s previous interest in the 28-year-old before he left Monza.
Two years ago, Di Gregorio’s agent Carlo Belloni told TV Play that “there were talks with Liverpool” but “we remained faithful to Juve because it was what he wanted.”
Di Gregorio has made 33 appearances for Juventus this season as first choice, and it seems unlikely he would accept a backup role behind Mamardashvili.
