The Everton star who has surpassed Iliman Ndiaye as the most valuable player according to CIES

At the start of the season, Jarrad Branthwaite was considered Everton’s most valuable player.

Amid links to Manchester United and Chelsea last summer, Jarrad Branthwaite was valued at around £52m.

The CIES Football Observatory then updated their figures and decided that Iliman Ndiaye was worth even more than Branthwaite.

Does this Everton fan have a point about Moyes? 😮

Despite a productive campaign for Ndiaye, registering nine goal involvements, he’s just been knocked off the top spot.

The prestigious title of being Everton’s most valuable player now belongs to a midfield player.

James Garner deemed Everton’s most valuable player

CIES’ latest figures have revealed that James Garner, who signed a new bumper deal earlier this year, is now Everton’s most valuable player.

The former Manchester United midfielder is deemed to be worth between £51-60m, which is probably a bit short of his true value.

Garner’s recent England debut will have boosted his stock, and if he goes to the World Cup, perhaps the Toffees will have a genuine £70m player on their books.

Would you rather Everton sign Summerville or Bowen this summer? 👀

West Ham wingers Crysencio Summerville and Jarrod Bowen.

Tony Bellew recently claimed that Garner is the most underrated player in the Premier League.

“Jimmy Garner has been the most unsung hero in the Premier League this whole season. I think he’s been absolutely phenomenal.”

The 2001-born turned 25 last month, so there’s still so much room for him to develop and grow into an even better player.

Man United must certainly regret letting Garner go for just £15m in 2022, especially given how well he was performing in England’s youth teams.

It was a bizarre decision from United in hindsight, but their loss is Everton’s gain.
