Everton are in the market for a wide player this summer transfer window.

David Moyes has already been drawing up a list of potential targets, with West Ham United’s Crysencio Summerville believed to be on the Toffees’ radar.

Moyes and his recruitment chiefs have also been looking overseas, and according to the Liverpool Echo, versatile forward Julian Brandt is of interest.
That said, there has now been a fresh development on Brandt.

Everton target Julian Brandt wanted by Atletico Madrid
Brandt is an exciting option for Everton as he’s been considered one of the best forwards in the Bundesliga for several years.
The 29-year-old, who has netted 11 goals whilst laying on three assists this term, is set to leave on a free transfer in the summer.

Brandt’s contract expires at the end of June, so the Toffees are expected to be one of a number of clubs queuing up for his signature.

Now, it’s being reported that Atletico Madrid have joined the race to sign the 48-cap Germany international.
Atleti consider Brandt a potential Antoine Griezmann replacement, as the French veteran is joining Orlando City in the summer.
According to Spanish outlet Marca, Brandt is one of Diego Simeone’s top targets, so it seems Everton may have to look elsewhere.
PSV winger Esmir Bajraktarevic has been linked to the Hill Dickinson Stadium, so perhaps he’d be more of an attainable target.
