Liverpool are aiming to end a four-game winless run against Crystal Palace when the pair face off in the Premier League this weekend.
The Reds have put some much-needed breathing room between themselves and sixth, but Brighton and Hove Albion are only six points adrift of Arne Slot’s side after they beat Chelsea on Tuesday.
Liverpool also still have to play a number of sides who are competing for a Champions League spot, including the Blues, Aston Villa and Manchester United.
In turn, anything but a win against Oliver Glasner’s Palace would not be ideal. But the Merseyside outfit have been made favourites for this game by Gary Neville and Roy Keane.

Liverpool expected to beat Crystal Palace
The Eagles have beaten Liverpool in the Community Shield and most recently in the Carabao Cup when Arne Slot put out a weak XI.
But their Premier League form has dipped somewhat in 2025/26, perhaps because of their involvement in the Europa Conference League, and they currently sit 13th in the table.
In turn, it is perhaps not surprising that pundits are backing a Liverpool win this weekend.

Speaking on The Overlap, Neville predicted that Slot’s men will secure a 2-0 win at Anfield on April 25.
Keane, who was predicting the score along with Ian Wright and Jill Scott, also backed a home win but went for a 2-1 result.

Supercomputer predicts Liverpool vs Crystal Palace
As well as Neville and Keane, Opta’s supercomputer also fancies Liverpool to come out on top this weekend.
They are currently saying the Reds have just under 60% of securing the three points on Saturday afternoon.
Palace, on the other hand, are given just under a 20% chance of earning the win.
Opta also now believe Liverpool are 91.46% likely to be playing Champions League football come the 2026/27 season.
