Liverpool are plotting a significant overhaul of their attacking options ahead of the summer transfer window opening.
Last year Richard Hughes acquired a whole new strikeforce - adding Hugo Ekitike and Alexander Isak as well as a playmaker in Florian Wirtz.
And at the end of what is proving to be a disappointing Premier League title defence the club are now eyeing up big changes on the wings.
Mohamed Salah is a confirmed departure while Federico Chiesa is also expected to leave. That would open a spot in Arne Slot’s squad for a one-v-one specialist out wide and it’s clear who the frontrunner is going to be.
Liverpool want Yan Diomande deal
Yan Diomande - the RB Leipzig teenager - has enjoyed a stunning rise since moving to the Bundesliga from Leganes in Spain last summer.
The Ivorian, 19, inked a deal until 2030 and Red Bull got their man for a snip at only £18m.
Diomande - who can play either side of the attack - is quickly outgrowing his confines in German football and looks set to take the next step in his career following the FIFA World Cup.
According to a report in TEAMtalk Diomande is excited about the prospect of moving to Anfield - and personal terms are not expected to be a sticking point either.
