A picture of Alexis Mac Allister is going viral after a sticker of former Liverpool forward Luis Diaz was spotted on the dressing room recycling bin.
It has been a season to remember for the underrated Diaz, who joined Bayern Munich from Liverpool last summer in a deal worth £65.5 million.
So far, he has contributed 15 goals and 13 assists in the Bundesliga, and his form in the Champions League has been nothing short of sensational as Bayern push for a quadruple.
Liverpool, meanwhile, have struggled for much of the 2025-26 campaign, despite spending a record £446 million in last summer's transfer window.
Speaking after Diaz scored against Real Madrid this month, former Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard spoke about the 29-year-old, who scored 41 goals in 148 appearances for the Reds.
"We miss him a lot," he said. "He’s been quite quiet in this game, surprisingly. But you can’t sleep when Luis Diaz is about. The timing of his run, his speed, and the finish is exquisite.”
It appears his former teammates are also missing his presence, after a sticker of Diaz was spotted in a picture of Alexis Mac Allister that was posted on Ibrahima Konate's Instagram.
As seen below, Diaz, wearing the Colombia home kit, has been stuck on the recycling bin, which sits next to Mac Allister's place in the Liverpool dressing room.

One said: "Check out this Luis Díaz figurine from the Copa América era that the Liverpool players have STUCK UP in the dressing room. Right next to the RECYCLING SYMBOL, you can tell they want him back."
A second wrote: "Either it's a brutal insult or they miss him and put it there without bad intention," and a third commented: "Understand the double meaning, the players want Luis Diaz back, that's why he's in 'Recycling'".
A fourth added: "Lucho commented on the post saying it's all good, it must be some inside joke from the locker room. We shouldn't look for drama where there isn't any, guys."
As mentioned above, Diaz left a comment on Konate's post. He replied with an eyes emoji, suggesting that he might be in on the joke.

Back in February, Slot suggested Diaz's sale was linked to the club’s broader philosophy.
"Luis Díaz is another example of how this club is run," he said. “If this club gets for a 28-year-old an offer like that, then, because it is built on sustainability, it chooses to sell a player.
"We are an exception in the Premier League, especially at the top of the Premier League for that. But that is why it is also so nice that we are able to achieve the things we have achieved in the last few years with that model."
He added: “But he is doing very well at Bayern and that is not a surprise to me.”
