Journalist confirms Milan requested Gatti plus cash for De Winter in January

**It has been revealed that AC Milan and Juventus evaluated a swap involving Koni De Winter and Federico Gatti during the January transfer window.**

However, as the journalist explained, Milan not only wanted Gatti in exchange for De Winter, but also some cash from the Turin side…

“In January, a De Winter-Gatti swap was attempted, but Milan legitimately requested a cash compensation in their favour for going through with the swap. Juve simply said ‘no, you have to pay us’ and the negotiations stalled there,” he stated.
