Liverpool will be in the market for reinforcements in the summer transfer window, and reliable journalist Paul Joyce has provided an update on them potentially signing Inter Milan right-back Denzel Dumfries.
It could be a busy window for the Merseyside club after a disappointing season. The Reds have started heading back in the right direction in recent weeks, and it looks like they could qualify for the Champions League.
Last summer, Liverpool invested significantly, bringing in a host of new signings ahead of the 2025/26 season.
They've had mixed results with their recruitment in recent years, so it's an incredibly important window coming up in order to head back in the right direction.

According to journalist Paul Joyce, Liverpool are aware of the situation of Inter Milan right-back Denzel Dumfries.
The Dutch international has a £22 million release clause in his contract this summer, and the right-back position is an area in which Liverpool could strengthen in the upcoming summer transfer window.
Liverpool replaced Trent Alexander-Arnold with Jeremie Frimpong last summer, but the former Bayer Leverkusen full-back has struggled with injuries and form this term.
Conor Bradley has also missed a large portion of the season due to a serious knee injury, leading to Arne Slot utilising the likes of Curtis Jones and Dominik Szoboszlai at right back at times.

Dumfries and Frimpong are fairly similar in profile, given that they both prefer to operate in the opposition half.
Despite that, Dumfries is undoubtedly ahead of Frimpong in terms of ability and is more of a proven, experienced option at right back.
It's interesting to see Liverpool potentially looking at a more attacking option at right back, given that Frimpong has struggled at times.
There's an argument to suggest that the Reds could do with a more defensive full-back, so there is a variation of profiles for the slot next season.
Dumfries, described as "world class", would be a smart addition for Liverpool if they can get a deal over the line in the summer transfer window.
