“Everybody wants good young players to come through, and I am pleased that Braiden is doing really well,” Moyes told the media.

The youngster has really kicked on this season through playing in the Premier League 2, with 12 goals in 18 league appearances.

“I think he has got a bit to go before he is at our level, but I am really pleased; if he does that, then he will get more noticed.

“He will probably get more chance of getting seen around the pre-season than he would do now. I think if you are introducing that level of player now, you would be thinking: what would you do in that following year when you think you are still fighting for things?”

Graham handed prospect of Everton pre-season under Moyes

Moyes wants Tyler Dibling to impress over pre-season, and it seems Graham may also fit into that category.

It must be considered that Harrison Armstrong was also provided this opportunity over the summer.

Although the midfielder did impress, he was then sent out on loan for the first half of the campaign.

Graham will feature for Everton’s U21s on Friday evening against Watford at Walton Hall Park, where he will have another opportunity to showcase his talent.

It does seem, however, that Graham may have to prove himself with work away from the pitch in order to convince Moyes he is ready for the senior side.
