Nuno needs to make two changes to Everton starting XI

**West Ham host Everton in what is a crucial match for the Hammers’ chances of staying in the Premier League.**

With Spurs playing already relegated Wolverhampton Wanderers, they are expected to earn their first three points of 2026.

If Roberto De Zerbi’s side win, anything less than a win for the Irons would put the back in the relegation zone.

So, to make sure we don’t slip back into the bottom three we need to get all three points against David Moyes’ Europe chasing Everton.

To do that, Nuno needs to make a couple of changes to the team that drew 0-0 with Crystal Palace.

If I was Nuno I would make two changes. I’d bring in Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Adama Traore for El Hadji Malick Diouf and Pablo Felipe.

We need firepower and we need defensive stability and I think these changes would do that.

My team for Everton (H): Hermansen; Walker-Peters, Mavropanos, Disasi, Wan-Bissaka; Traore, Soucek, Fernandes, Summerville; Bowen, Castellanos.

These changes would keep the same formation, however, Jarrod Bowen would move from the right wing to striker alongside Taty. He hasn’t been getting in goalscoring positions very often as of late, so moving him move central could do that.

Having Adama and Summerville on the wings could really punish the Toffee’s. Fullback is probably their weakest position on paper with O’Brien and Mykolenko. They are both there to be got at.

Wan-Bissaka comes in for Diouf because of his defensive ability, he is a lot less likely to make a mistake. Also, AWB is a bit better in possession so he could help with build up. Diouf has been quite poor as of late with his crossing saving him from heavier criticism.

However, we could really do with that crossing off the bench. And with Wilson. Pablo, and Kante off the bench, Nuno could switch to a more direct style of play if he needs to.
