**West Ham face Everton in a crucial match just days after vice-chair Karren Brady stepped down.**
Over the past ten years or so, West Ham fans have been very vocal on their want to get rid of the board.
Chants of ‘sack the board’ have become a norm at grounds all around the country when West Ham are visiting.
The fans that wanted both Brady and David Sullivan out are halfway there as the former announced her resignation on Tuesday.
Many Hammers fans are delighted, but will it give the crowd and the team a boost ahead of today’s clash with Everton.
Well, I can’t imagine it has affected the team ahead of the match, their focus will be solely on winning the match to help avoid relegation.
However, for the fans it might boost their optimism and spirits. So, it may mean a better atmosphere in the London Stadium. This could give the players a boost that we might well need.
This is a huge match, we are probably going to have to win to stay out of the relegation zone so the crowd need to do everything they can to make sure we do that.
Come on you irons!
