Yan Diomande has once again been showcasing why Liverpool, Manchester City and more clubs could sign him this summer.
Talks for Diomande are already understood to have got underway from the Reds’ end, but there is plenty of competition for his services, with Man City joining the race for the winger this week.
It is easy to see why two of the Premier League’s elite are eyeing up a move in 2026 after watching him produce a simply brilliant assist in RB Leipzig’s latest Bundesliga match on Friday evening.
With Arne Slot expected to stay, will Liverpool challenge for the Premier League next season?
Or will it be another difficult campaign? 😬

Yan Diomande’s brilliant assist for RB Leipzig vs Union Berlin
Diomande has been called ‘world-class‘, and was once again living up to the hype on April 24 against Union Berlin.
Leipzig were looking to make it five Bundesliga wins in a row when they kicked off and did so with relative ease.
They secured a 3-1 victory on home soil, with Diomande’s assist for the third goal a moment of brilliance.
The Liverpool target carried the ball into the box from the right-hand side, drawing two Union Berlin defenders towards him.

He then spotted Ridle Baku making a run into the box and played a well-timed pass into his teammate, taking three defenders out of the game in the process.
The Overlap, who have rights to a certain number of Bundesliga games this season, posted the assist in full on their official X/Twitter account.
You can only pick ONE player for Liverpool to sign this summer, who is it?

Yan Diomande is putting his price tag up
That win, Leipzig’s fifth in a row, has put Diomande’s side up to third in the Bundesliga table for the time being.
They are now eight points clear of fifth with three/four games left to play, and in turn, Champions League football is all but guaranteed next term.
That is perhaps not ideal for Liverpool, though, as reports earlier this week suggested Diomande’s price tag is going up now that the German outfit are expected to be in Europe’s top-tier competition next term.
Philipp Hinze explained: “RB Leipzig are now demanding more than €100m for Yan Diomande. Since qualification for the Champions League is very realistic, Leipzig no longer have financial pressure to sell. Diomande’s value is rising.”
