Man Utd manager Michael Carrick has revealed that Patrick Dorgu will return to full training “next week”.
The Denmark international’s comeback from a serious hamstring injury has been delayed, but speaking to MUTV, Carrick said the winger is close to playing again:

“Patrick’s looking to get back closer to the group in a very small part, which is fantastic, because he’s worked so hard over a period of time now.”
“So it’ll be good to have him back in and around the group within the next week or so.”
Dorgu has not played since January
The 21-year-old had to be carried off after tearing his hamstring during the 3-2 win over Arsenal at the Emirates. It was particularly disappointing for the player who had scored a spectacular goal in that game.
Dorgu was expected to be sidelined for 10 weeks, but he has already been out for close to 12, and as Carrick mentions, he will need another 7 days or so before he is ready to return to the matchday squad.
The Dane may be on the substitutes bench for the clash against Liverpool at the start of next month.

Another injured Man Utd star is on the comeback trail
As well as Dorgu, there was more good news on the injury front with Matthijs de Ligt having been pictured on the grass for the first time since late November.
The Netherlands international has been struggling with a chronic back problem for nearly five months, but it appears he is close to playing for the first team once again.
It would be a surprise if de Ligt makes the squad for the Brentford fixture on Monday evening, but considering there were fears he could miss the rest of the season, it looks as though he could now feature in some of United’s remaining fixtures.
