Northern Ireland youth international Braiden Graham grabbed a 120th-minute winning goal for Everton under 21s on Friday in the PDL play-offs.
The former Linfield teenager, who signed terms with the Toffees in 2024, finished with two goals in the 3-2 victory against a Watford side trailing by two before fighting back to level.
Graham kicked off the scoring on 19 minutes, having found the net four times recently against Ipswich.
The 18-year-old then raced in to meet Kingsford Boakye’s cross and power home his header on the run for a dramatic victory.
Everton under 21s manager Paul Tait told the official club website after the game: “I had written the penalty takers down but thankfully it never come to that...Kingsford put a great ball in and it was just asking to be headed in and Braiden was there.
"Braiden was outstanding and did some excellent things.
"He just keeps going because he’s got that fire in his belly and the determination.”
Graham made his Linfield debut at 15 years 137 days in March 2023 to break the club record as youngest Irish League player.
His progress had led this season to Everton first-team manager David Moyes naming Graham on the substitutes’ bench at senior level.
