Brazilian goalkeeper Alisson Becker, currently sidelined with an injury, has become a primary target for Italian club Juventus.
Liverpool manager Arne Slot did not rule out the possibility of his first-choice goalkeeper, Alisson Becker, leaving Anfield this summer.
In response to questions posed to him on Friday regarding Liverpool's ability to part with a player of Alisson's experience, especially with the anticipated departures of Andy Robertson and Mohamed Salah, Slot replied: "This is my opinion, and I will convey it to the club's owners and to Richard Hughes (the sporting director)."
"The club is run in a specific way, and we make decisions that we believe are in the best interest of the club. History proves that every move in the transfer market has been deliberate and well-considered, with a specific purpose in mind. Those making the decisions take all aspects into account," said the Dutch manager.
Slot emphasized that "experience" is a strong argument for keeping Alisson, but other considerations must be weighed, noting that the goalkeeper still has one year left on his contract.
Alisson, who joined Liverpool for £67 million from Roma in 2018, has established himself as one of the world's best goalkeepers, winning every possible trophy with the Reds in 332 appearances.
