Liverpool fans have continued their protests against rising ticket prices, showing their owners the yellow card. Supporters at Anfield held aloft yellow paper, chanting, 'You greedy b*******, enough is enough' during their showdown with Crystal Palace.
The Premier League champions have moved to raise general ticket admission annually for the next three seasons. The decision has angered supporters, who say the rise in prices are unprecedented and removes the scope for consultation.
Liverpool say they are open to discussion with fans and are happy to speak to supporters about the matter with inflation being linked to the prices. It has been said that adult general admission season tickets will rise to no more than £1.42 per match, while operating costs at Anfield have risen 85 percent.
The supporter organisations including Spirit of Shankly, Spion Kop 1906, Kop Outs (LFC LGBTQ+ supporters group), cultuRED (faith and ethnicity supporters group), the LFC Women’s Supporters Club and multiple branches of the Official Liverpool Supporters Club co-ordinated the action, with the cards being distributed around Anfield ahead of the game.
The move saw yellow cards held up during the 13th minute of their Premier League showdown against Crystal Palace. Liverpool postponed protests during the Champions League second-leg against Paris Saint-Germain, as it fell close to the anniversary of the Hillsborough disaster, but protests on Saturday (April 25) increased after the initial protests against Fulham.

A campaign van was stationed outside Liverpool's training ground on Friday and in locations around the city ahead of the showdown against Oliver Glasner's side.
A spokesperson for the campaign said: “This is about the future of Liverpool Football Club and who gets to be part of it. Locking in three years of price rises removes accountability and sets a dangerous precedent - not just here, but across the Premier League.
“This isn’t ‘some fans’. This is hundreds of thousands of supporters making their voices heard. On Saturday, we’re asking everyone inside Anfield and beyond to show FSG the yellow card.”
Speaking ahead of Saturday's clash with Palace, who have beaten Liverpool three times this season, head coach Arne Slot said: "As long as I'm in football there are disagreements, and they are always about people with best interests of the club.

"Two weeks ago there was a protest and we had felt we had the full support of the fans. We will need the support of the fans."
After a slow start, the Reds turned on the style as they took a two-goal lead in the first-half. Alexander Isak scored on his first start in the Premier League at Anfield after returning from injury, before Andy Robertson netted, moments after Freddie Woodman made a superb reflex save at the other end.
Liverpool needed to continue their run of form after beating Everton last-time out. With another defeat for Chelsea in their previous outing at Brighton, Slot's side were looking to create a buffer to the Seagulls.
Fabian Hurzeler's side moved within five points of Liverpool but a win would see them leapfrog Aston Villa moving level on games played.
