At his peak, Andy Robertson was known for flying down the wing and providing assists by the bucketload for Liverpool. In his final few weeks at the club, though, he has scored a couple of excellent goals.
The Scotland captain netted a great strike against Wolves in the FA Cup in February and scored a finish of a similar level of quality this weekend as he found the back of Dean Henderson's net against Crystal Palace.
Robertson, like Mohamed Salah, now has a maximum of four games left as a Liverpool player. Milos Kerkez could come back into the starting XI at left-back in the next month, while the Reds are awaiting an update on Salah's injury.

Meantime, Liverpool legend Steve Nicol has praised Robertson for his performance at Anfield, when he starred in an important victory that looks to have secured Champions League soccer next term.
"The best of the lot was Andy Robertson," Nicol said on ESPN FC as he analyzed the game. "Freddie Woodman actually made a fantastic save; Liverpool broke from that save.
"Andy Robertson, streaking through the middle of the park to make it 2-0; great little ball from Curtis Jones, then first time, left foot, bottom corner across the goalkeeper which made it 2-0 and really changed the game.

"It's always nice when you see somebody in his position, leaving the club, and they’ve been so good for the club and the team, to get a goal at home.
"It's different when you score at home. When you're away, you've got a little section of the crowd who are behind you and you enjoy it.
"When you do it at home, it's just different; it’s just a little bit more special. It would be nice if he could do it on the last day of the season, but he’ll take that with four games to go."
Robertson is more than capable of playing at a high level moving forward, but he wants guarantees of more regular action — something that Liverpool couldn't offer him.

"We've been through so many things together — highs, lows. He's a special character. Above all, he's been an unbelievable player and still is in my opinion. One of the best left-backs in the Premier League ever.
"The club is definitely going to miss him, but we still have the last part of the season to play, and then we'll see what happens in the summer."

Liverpool.com says: Robertson will be a big loss. Replacing him as a leader in the locker room will be tricky, but so too will losing his quality as a left-back. Kostas Tsimikas is coming back from AS Roma and he could be a logical successor for the time being.
