OGC Nice’s on-loan African stars, Terem Moffi of Nigeria and Jeremie Boga of the Ivory Coast, will not return to the French club, according to vice-president Maurice Cohen.
Moffi is on loan at Porto, while Boga is currently on the books of Juventus. Both players have been involved in a dispute with the Ligue 1 club, which has seemingly decided their futures.
“They will not return to Nice, whether their purchase options are exercised or not,” Maurice Cohen told Ici Azur radio.
With 14 official matches, two goals and one assist for the Dragons, Terem Moffi could remain at Dragão permanently if FC Porto decides to activate the €8 million buy option. The 26-year-old Nigerian striker is currently valued at an estimated €9.1 million.
Since joining Juve, Boga (29) has played 10 Serie A matches, scoring four goals and providing one assist, with an estimated valuation of €7.8 million.
