Everton target Crysencio Summerville drops subtle hint on his West Ham future

Everton are assessing the transfer market for a wide player.

The Toffees have been scouting Millwall’s Femi Azeez after his standout season in the Championship.

Stoke City’s Sorba Thomas has also been linked with a move to the Hill Dickinson Stadium, with a £15m deal mooted.

Why has it taken this long for Everton to complain? 🤷‍♂️

Crysencio Summerville suggests he will stay at West Ham amid Everton interest

Summerville has netted seven goals whilst laying on four assists for West Ham this term, alerting several clubs around the Premier League.

The Toffees seem to have earmarked the 24-year-old as a possible Jack Grealish replacement, if he doesn’t re-sign on a permanent deal.

However, speaking to West Ham’s YouTube channel, Summerville has indicated he may stay beyond the summer as the club feels like ‘home’.

“I’ve been in this situation (relegation battle) as well with Leeds United,” the Hammers star said.

“I’m very young but I know what is asked of me in this situation and I just try to give my all for the team, for this club as well.

“I’m here for only two years but it feels like home.”

If Summerville is unattainable, Southampton’s Leo Scienza may become an option as Everton have been keeping a close eye on his performances.

The Toffees have reportedly stepped up their interest in Scienza recently, so clearly, Toffees scouts have been impressed.

The Brazilian can operate as a wide player and also as an attacking midfielder, so his versatility would add great value to the squad.
