Everton hold 15% Anthony Gordon sell-on clause with Newcastle
The Friedkins are set to profit from Gordon’s potential sale thanks to the work done by the previous regime in selling the winger.
In a fresh report from The Athletic, it is claimed that Everton will receive 15 per cent of the profit Newcastle make on his sale.

This comes as Newcastle are said to be valuing Gordon in the region of £80m this summer.
Everton sold Gordon to Newcastle for £40m, which means the Blues could be in line to earn a further £6m from his possible sale.
Gordon is said to be keen to move on from Newcastle this summer, with the possibility of Liverpool reigniting their interest again.
Gordon’s attitude could be unravelling on Tyneside
Everton fans do not think highly of Gordon following his exit from Merseyside that he manufactured.
It seems as if similar could be happening under Eddie Howe, with Gordon having been dropped suddenly from Newcastle’s squad following the recent transfer speculation.
Gordon has already refused to play right-wing for Newcastle.
It was certainly noteworthy to see Gordon miss Newcastle’s game against Bournemouth after the transfer speculation broke the other week.
