Francisco Conceicao is a player who has been drawing attention from Liverpool in 2026.
Conceicao joined the Reds’ list of targets to potentially replace Mohamed Salah back in March.
The Juventus forward spoke about his future a few days later, while his brother, Sergio Conceicao, has now commented on his future and seems to think he will be staying in Turin.
You can only pick ONE player for Liverpool to sign this summer, who is it?

Francisco Conceicao not expected to leave Juventus amid Liverpool links
In an interview with Tuttosport, Sergio was asked about the relationship the Liverpool target has with manager Luciano Spalletti.
When commenting, he said that his brother was happy under the coach: “They have an excellent relationship, Spalletti has shown enormous faith in Chico.
“He also feels a sense of responsibility: he’s well, he’s happy, and now he wants to take the final, definitive step in his development.”
He was then asked ‘Will Chico stay in Turin?’, to which he responded**:** “Of course, he has a contract, right?”

If that is indeed the case, it does not appear as though a Liverpool move this summer is on the cards.
But the Reds will still need to secure a move in order to provide some cover for the departing Mohamed Salah.

Liverpool’s alternatives to Francisco Conceicao
Spalletti compared Conceicao to a young Salah earlier this month, saying: “The comparison with the early Salah is appropriate.
“Conceicao is still a young player and has things to learn. He needs to convince himself that he can also play more centrally.”
But there are other options that the Merseyside outfit are thought to be looking at to replace the Egyptian.
Yan Diomande is Liverpool’s new winger front-runner, it was claimed in the last few days.
A move for AC Milan star Rafael Leao has also been mooted in the last week.
