Opinion: Tuchel will surely consider Everton's Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall after remarkable stat…

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall has been one of the signings of the season.

Everton signed Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall from Chelsea in a £28m deal last summer, and it’s turned out to be a huge bargain.

Dewsbury-Hall has been labelled a ‘revelation’ as he’s outshining Liverpool’s Florian Wirtz, who cost £116m.

A first England call-up has been mooted all season, but Thomas Tuchel hasn’t given him his opportunity just yet.

But surely after seeing this remarkable statistic, Tuchel will give Dewsbury-Hall his Three Lions debut in the friendly matches ahead of the World Cup.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall’s incredible minutes per goal involvement statistic

Dewsbury-Hall appeared on Monday Night Football last night, and the programme revealed a very telling statistic.

The Everton star actually has the best minutes per goal involvement ratio out of any English midfielder or winger since November.

# Player Mins per G/A

1 Dewsbury-Hall 148

2 Gibbs-White 149

3 Foden 151

4 Bowen 153

5 Palmer 162

The former Chelsea and Leicester City midfielder has netted seven goals whilst laying on three assists in that period.

If Tuchel picks his squad on merit, then Dewsbury-Hall simply has to be involved in the pre-World Cup squad at the very least.

Why has it taken this long for Everton to complain? 🤷‍♂️

The Three Lions take on New Zealand on the 6th of June and Costa Rica on the 10th before jetting off to America.

Dewsbury-Hall’s energy and pressing ability make him a very valuable member of any squad, especially with England expected to play in really hot temperatures.

Tuchel won’t just need technical players but also athletic and dynamic runners to deal with the heat, which is Dewsbury-Hall down to a tee.

Dewsbury-Hall said getting an England call-up is a dream of his and hopes his form with the Toffees will convince the England manager.
