Everton are set to target a new striker this summer, but Karl Etta Eyong is seemingly doing his level best to turn the Toffees away from him.
Beto is in good form at the moment for the Toffees.
Which of these players do you want to see Everton SIGN in 2026?

But there remain question marks over his ability to sustain good form throughout a season.
Thierno Barry is really struggling at the moment, and has scored just one goal in his last 11 games.
Everton still believe in Barry’s potential, but the club are still set to go after a new striker in the next window – and Etta Eyong is reportedly on the club’s radar.
But he might not be for much longer, with the Levante player having endured a pretty dismal 2026 so far.

In order for Everton to reach a new level, the club need to be signing a proven striker, who’s played in a top five league in Europe.
MORE EVERTON STORIES
Neither Beto nor Barry are particularly clinical. Or at least, they aren’t on a consistent basis, and Everton need to get someone who is.
Earlier this year, Karl Etta Eyong was reported to be a target for Everton.
The Cameroon international had enjoyed a great start to 2025/26, scoring six goals in Levante’s first 10 La Liga matches.
But in 2026 the goals have completely dried up for him.
Everton target Karl Etta Eyong has now gone 20 consecutive games for Levante across all competitions without scoring
His last strike came against Mallorca on October 26 – and actually, the minutes have also now stopped coming as regularly.
As a result of his poor form, Etta Eyong has played just 34 minutes across Levante’s last three La Liga matches, and he didn’t even get off the bench in the two before that.
His last league start actually came on February 8 against Athletic Club.
Levante have just played against Espanyol, with the game finishing 0-0. But it could have been all three points for Levante, had Etta Eyong converted a gilt-edged chance he had.
It was his moment to be ruthless, and help Levante get all three points.
But he fluffed his lines, meaning his 2026 woes continued.
Everton have a number of strikers on their shortlist at the moment, including Liam Delap, Santiago Castro and Troy Parrott.
Any of these players would be better options than Etta Eyong, who has done little to suggest he’d be an upgrade on Barry or Beto.
