Jack Grealish has many friends within the football community, inside and outside of Everton.
The England international is close pals with Matt Targett – a target for Everton this summer – and has also previously named Jordan Pickford as his best mate at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
Jack Grealish could soon be joined by another good friend at Everton in John Stones – after Manchester City announced the defender will be leaving the Etihad Stadium this summer.
In light of that announcement, the Everton No.18 sent a message to his former teammate on Instagram.

Jack Grealish calls John Stones the “greatest of all time” ahead of Manchester City exit
After Stones – who Everton are ‘determined’ to sign – posted about his impending exit from Manchester City, he received a barrage of messages from the likes of Kevin De Bruyne, Marcus Rashford and other big names.
Grealish – who played 70 games with the Yorkshireman at Manchester City – was one of those to respond, calling his old teammate “the goat (greatest of all time)” in the comments section.

Clearly, the Everton loanee has a lot of respect for Stones, so he could potentially put a word in to The Friedkin Group as the Toffees aim to take advantage of this market opportunity.
Grealish himself is keen to sign for Everton on a permanent basis this summer as Manchester City aim to sell their record arrival, so he could tempt the 31-year-old to join him.
Like Stones, Bernardo Silva has already announced his exit too, so the Citizens are set for a major clear-out at the end of the season.
The Manchester City No.5 was, of course, previously at Everton as well, so that, along with his connection with Grealish, could work in The Friedkin Group’s favour.
What should Everton be willing to pay to bring back Grealish over the summer? 💰

Furthermore, Stones once said Pickford is among his closest pals – so the chance to return to his former club, playing alongside many familiar faces he gets on well with, could well convince the defender to reunite with Everton this summer.
