Iwobi, who now plies his trade at Fulham, was just asked who the best manager he’s ever worked under is, and he actually named a surprising former Everton boss.

Alex Iwobi says Frank Lampard is the best manager he’s ever played under
Speaking on Tyrique Hyde’s Twitch stream, Iwobi admitted that Frank Lampard is the best manager he’s had despite working with the likes of Arsene Wenger and Carlo Ancelotti.
“The best manager for me is Frank Lampard,” the Fulham star stated.
“The highest profile is between Wenger and Ancelotti, but for me, Frank Lampard, in my opinion.

“You see Ancelotti… 80% of the training sessions he’s not involved, he’s just on the side, maybe with a vape pen or something just chilling whilst his son takes the session.
“Unless it’s a day before the match, then he’s involved.”
“(On Lampard) He’s doing his thing at Coventry, they are flying.”

Lampard’s stock has risen dramatically since leaving Goodison Park in January 2023, as he’s just won the Championship with Coventry City.
The Sky Blues haven’t been in the Premier League since 2001, so it’s a monumental achievement for Lampard’s side.
Lampard has been linked with the Chelsea job after Liam Rosenior’s sacking, and Crystal Palace have also been showing an interest.
Evidently, he’s had quite the career resurgence post-Everton.
