Matteo Moretto believes that AC Milan will not be serious contenders to sign Dusan Vlahovic while his demands remain so high.
Of all the strikers that have been linked with Milan in the past few weeks and months, Vlahovic is the name that has been mentioned perhaps the most, or has certainly attracted the largest volume of discussion. We analysed what he could bring to Massimiliano Allegri’s set up last week.

His ability has been proven in Serie A, but he is in the midst of a difficult campaign due to injury. With his contract at Juventus expiring and no sign of progress towards a renewal, there has been speculation that Milan could swoop for a free transfer.
Vlahovic wants too much for Milan
However, Matteo Moretto spoke on Fabrizio Romano’s YouTube channel to give an update on the Serbian, suggesting that he can not be considered a serious target for the Rossoneri unless the demands are lowered.
“I can confirm that there is some confusion about who is managing Dusan Vlahovic’s interests. It seems that at the moment his father is in charge of the situation,” he said (via MilanNews).
“I have been saying for some time that the agreement between Vlahovic and Juventus is far from a given, the Bianconeri are reflecting on the renewal of the Serbian internally.
“At the moment, negotiations between the parties are at a standstill, but I can add that in May negotiations will resume, Juve will return to speak with Vlahovic, even if the issue of salary plus commissions still needs to be resolved.
“Juve’s idea is to keep him only if he were to accept the conditions of the Bianconeri club, also because the player, from a physical point of view, does not exude great security.
“Juve knows that at the moment Vlahovic does not have any great offers from either Italy or abroad, especially given the figures the striker is asking for. So at the moment everything is on hold, the other teams are not taking the plunge, the figures he is asking for are very high.
“Dusan’s demands are very high. In Italy, Milan can’t get close unless the Serbian lowers his financial demands. Other Serie A teams looking for a striker include Napoli and Roma, but Vlahovic has always closed the door to these destinations.
“We’ll see what happens; right now we’re in a waiting phase. Juve will only sign the renewal if the player accepts the Bianconeri’s conditions.”
