Everton U21 players to watch against Brentford
Graham is again the obvious name to watch after his decisive contribution against Watford. The forward scored twice in that tie and had already hit four goals in the 8-4 win over Ipswich.
It was a timely performance after David Moyes said Graham needs to show more to earn his senior debut at Everton.
Shea Pita is another player who performed exceptionally well last Friday against Watford.
Keep an eye on winger Kingsford Boakye. He came off the bench to provide the cross for Graham’s winning goal.
The 21-year-old also scored in the final game of the regular season against Ipswich Town.
Everton’s academy has produced a strong attacking spark over the last fortnight, and Friday’s meeting with Brentford gives those players another chance to show what they can offer.
