It has emerged over recent days that Tottenham have expressed an interest in Ayase Ueda, who has had a prolific season for Feyenoord.
The Japanese international has found the back of the net 26 times, and it has been alleged that Spurs’ scouts have kept a close eye on his progress ahead of a potential summer move.
However, TEAMtalk have now claimed that the Lilywhites will face competition from Everton for the 27-year-old after the Toffees entered the race for the striker.
