Braiden Graham has been called up to Everton senior training ahead of Manchester City.

Just days on from his brace for Paul Tait’s U21s side, Graham has earned himself a call up to first-team training at Finch Farm.

Although Moyes admitted Graham is not close to making his debut for Everton, it seems as if he is opening the door to the youngster behind the scenes.

Everton call up Braiden Graham to training ahead of Man City

Everton will be hoping Beto is fit enough to start the game on Monday evening at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.

Amid the concern over Everton’s options for the game, Graham has been spotted in first-team training on Thursday through images released on X.

The 18-year-old could be seen among the regular faces, which did notably include Beto.

Graham has scored six in his last two games for Everton’s U21s side in their games against Ipswich Town and Watford.

Everton’s U21s are in action again on Friday evening against Brentford, which Graham is fully expected to feature in.

However, it seems as if Moyes could be softening to the demand around seeing Graham earn a spot in the senior matchday squad.

Tait has been so impressed with Graham this season, and it is hard not to be when he has been scoring in the manner he has.

Big concerns still lie over whether Graham is physically ready to play in the Premier League.

The answer is probably not. However, it is apparent that Moyes is now starting to ease Graham into the surroundings of the senior side.

Moyes demands a lot from Everton’s youngsters, which has been seen through his recent comments on Harrison Armstrong.

The call-up to training may be nothing more than a reward for his recent performances at youth level, but this is certainly a step in the right direction.
