Bayern Munich are said to have laid out a five-year contract offer to the representatives of Anthony Gordon after stepping up their interest in the sought-after Newcastle star.
Gordon is emerging as one of the high-profile players most likely to depart St James' Park in the summer following a challenging 2025-26 campaign for the club, who look set to record a bottom half finish in the Premier League. The 25-year-old's stock is high in Europe after a strong Champions League campaign, scoring 10 times in Europe's premier club competition, and clubs are already circling.
Interest in Gordon's services from Bayern Munich has been well documented with Newcastle expected to facilitate a sale if their £75million-plus valuation of the winger is met.
And while Sky Sports Germany claim Newcastle's demands have been deemed too high at present by Bayern, they have now put a financial package in front of Gordon's camp.
The finer details of the proposal are not shared but the report does relay that a five-year contract is on the table if a club-to-club agreement can be reached at the end of the season.
Bayern are keen on strengthening the left-hand side of their already imperious attack in the off-season, with Mirror Football revealing last month that they also hold an interest in Aston Villa's Morgan Rogers.
The transfer window does not officially open until next month but Gordon already has no shortage of suitors; Barcelona are another club who have explored a deal, however, reports from Spain this week outlined that a transfer is currently unlikely despite Deco meeting with the player's representatives with Newcastle's asking price again a sticking point.

Speculation that Gordon could remain in the Premier League has also been rife with Arsenal and Liverpool known to be long-term admirers of the former Everton man. The latter even came close to signing him for £75m two years ago before the plug was pulled late on.
It emerged last month that Arsenal would have a 'huge advantage' over rivals if they do decide to purse a deal for Gordon in the transfer window, with The Sun claiming he would prefer to move to London over any other city.
The Gunners, who are now closing in on the Premier League title, are expected to refresh their squad regardless of how the season ends, though they do also have other targets in mind.
