A Bukayo Saka goal late in the first half was enough for Arsenal to beat Atletico Madrid 1-0 this evening, and qualify for the Champions League final for the first time since 2006.
It wasn’t necessarily a classic, but the Gunners could have been further ahead with chances to score, while Diego Simeone’s side had a couple of nearly moments but nothing sustained over the course of the 90 minutes.
